SKILLED HANDYMAN BASED IN MARYLAND

I have been  doing home remodeling for over 25 years and have tackled small and large projects alike

From bathrooms  to kitchens and even additions i have tackled many projects and have a strong client base.  Let me make your ideas come to life.

This client wanted a space for her kids in an unfinished basement. Together we created a cozy space while utilizing the rooms full potential. This was our canvas.

Finished basement in Columbia Md.

The client wanted piano hinge doors to keep the kids toys. It was a great idea which i have used in several of my jobs.Thank you Julia!

This client wanted to make a breezeway . The weather was a real nuisance as the distance from the house to the garage was quite significant .

With the help of a fellow  contractor and an architect we made this possible, with all the proper county permits required by law.

It took a little over a month to get this project complete

The stone work and electrical was done by a fellow contractor.

The rest we handled.

The tricky part was matching all the carpentry and aesthetics to original house and garage

This is the backside of garage. The garage had two exits that we needed to attach to breezeway.

The inside was also matched according to the current  house scheme.

all in all i say we made something that felt good making, and served a real purpose.

let Us help you make your life a little easier, by modernizing your home.

This kitchen had multiple issues from its decor to its structure.

It would have been great if we could have eliminate the bulkheads and installed bigger cabinets however

this is a townhouse and so the structure isn't something that we can do a lot with.

the bulkheads cover up a bunch of vents and plumbing .

The joist in this kitchen where 20inches apart

walking in the kitchen made alot of noise.

we dug up the entire kitchen, when most contractors had said we will just tile over it.no problem the durock will make it stronger.

i was the only one who went downstairs and saw the real problem- in the utility room the ceiling was exposed and one could see the kitchen joist.

the structuree was wrong. joist were 20 inches apart and no blocks in between

it took about 12 days of work but we made a beautiful modern kitchen

The drain in this house was 5 feet above grade, for ten years this client would entertain in the basement and one would need to go up to the main floor to find a bathroom .

We started from scratch , which  often times is way easier in this business. NO demo!

Saniflo did all the work

I am a big fan of this system and have used it several times  now. The result is always the same , Reliable.

The trim on this bay window was painted numerous times to no avail.  I convinced the home owner that the plywood and trim were to decayed and thus it was nearly impossible for paint to adhere to anything. It took a little convincing because she was set on getting it painted again. She figured. ill get a better painter this time and it will last longer. I personally don't like temporary and prefer to give my clients peace of mind for years to come.     The real  root of the problem here was

WOOD!

PVC is by far the better material when it comes to the exterior of your house. IT is a wise investment to make and one that you will not regret.

Keeps the bees away!  I have lost count the number of timers i've had to remove rotten wood with bee larva inside , with PVC this problem is non existing.

I also advise her to repaint her numbers they were pretty old and weathered.

The best thing about painting the numbers for her was that it was my idea and i did it as a courtesy. Helping people makes me feel good and  anything that makes the job better is always a plus  in my book.
